Edinburgh Castle

This is the darling of all Edinburgh landmarks and you can see it from almost everywhere. Currently it's used as an army barracks but it is rumored to have been used for interrogation during world war II. Yes, apparently the prisoners would be kept there for a couple of weeks, and then they would be interrogated under threat of expulsion from the castle.
